2, rough grinding, with 600# sand belt grinding workpiece on the product round trip, the process to achieve the goal is to remove the workpiece welding left welding spot, as well as in the previous step of the process of collision, to achieve the initial shape of the welding joint, horizontal plane and vertical plane basically no big scratch, no collision, after this step of the workpiece surface roughness should be up to R0.8mm. Pay attention to the inclination Angle of the belt sander and control the pressure of the belt sander on the workpiece in the polishing process. Generally speaking, it is more moderate to form a straight line with the thrown surface!
3, semi-fine grinding, grinding products with 800# belt in accordance with the previous round trip grinding workpiece method, mainly on the previous process of joint correction and coarse grinding produced by further fine grinding, the impression left by the previous process to repeatedly grinding, to achieve no scratches on the surface of the workpiece, basic brightens. The surface roughness of this process should be able to reach R0.4mm. (Be careful not to produce new scratches and bruises in this process, because such defects cannot be repaired in the following process.)
4. Fine grinding, 1000# sand belt is mainly used to correct the fine lines in the previous step. The grinding method is the same as above. The goal of this process is that the joint between the grinding part and the ungrinding part of the workpiece basically disappears, and the surface of the workpiece is further polished. The workpiece after grinding through this process should be basically close to the mirror effect, and the surface roughness of the workpiece should reach R0.1mm
5. Instructions on the replacement of abrasive belt: Generally speaking, 6-8 pieces of 1500mm long abrasive belt can be polished with 600# abrasive belt, 4-6 pieces of abrasive parts can be polished with 800# abrasive belt, and 1-2 pieces of abrasive parts can be polished with 1000# abrasive belt. The specific situation depends on the welding spot of the workpiece, the pressure used in polishing, and the way and method of polishing. In addition, it should be noted that the replacement of the sand belt must ensure that the sand belt can rotate smoothly on the sponge wheel, so as to achieve the purpose of grinding the workpiece evenly.
